Watch: Eberflus Says Starters Will Get Plenty of Work in First Exhibition Game

The Bears’ first preseason against the Chiefs just got much more interesting. Matt Eberflus announced on Wednesday that his starters will play when Kansas City visits Soldier Field on Aug. 13, including Justin Fields. Eberflus wasn’t specific about snap counts, but he does want to play them a “good amount.”

“We need to play these guys,” Eberflus said. “We have to see where they are, where they function… We have to see what they look like when they’re playing in a football game.”
