Bears Name Robert Quinn 2021 Defensive MVP
When naming a defensive MVP the Bears had a very easy decision to make. Pass rushing linebacker Robert Quinn broke the single-season Chicago sack record with 18.5. It was a pleasant surprise in an otherwise mediocre season.

The former first round pick of the Rams had not had that many sacks in a season since he had 19 in 2013. After a bit of a bounce back in Dallas in 2019, Quinn came to Chicago in 2020. The North Carolina product recorded just a pair of quarterback takedowns in a very disappointing Bears debut season.
Quinn is under contract for the next three years after signing a five-year $70 million deal in 2020. Certainly, Chicago is hoping the return of Khalil Mack from injury combined with Robert’s resurgence will give the Bears an outstanding pass rush in 2022.
