Chicago Bears Activate WR Dwayne Harris From Practice Squad
The Chicago Bears have activated WR Dwayne Harris from the practice squad today, which normally wouldn’t be huge news. However, the real news here is that Dwayne Harris has 180 career punt returns. My hope is that this means Ted Ginn, Jr. will not be returning punts for the Bears tomorrow against the New Orleans Saints.
You may recall that Ted Ginn, Jr. was in last week’s game against the Los Angeles Rams as the punt returner and he fielded no punts on five chances. That led to an average starting field position for the Bears after punts of the 6-yard line. That’s bad.
We have activated WR Dwayne Harris from the practice squad to the active roster. @Hyundai | #DaBears
