Watch: Khalil Herbert Gives Bears 19-10 Lead
The Bears have scored 19 points in a little over 16 minutes to take a 19-10 lead over the 49ers in sloppy field conditions. Cairo Santos missed his second PAT of the afternoon. Khalil Herbert gave Chicago the insurance TD with a three-yard off-tackle run.
Justin Fields and Equanimeous St. Brown gave the Bears a 13-10 lead a few minutes earlier.
The score was set up nicely thanks to an interception by safety Eddie Jackson. It was Jackson’s first interception since 2019. The Bears have scored three touchdowns on three second-half drives. Luke Getsy has been much more aggressive in his play calling since halftime.
San Francisco has been penalized 11 times, helping Chicago establish much better field position than they could in the first half.
Khalil Herbert gives the Bears a nine-point lead in the fourth!
